For those of you who have been a part of the Dr Phillips community for a few years, you know there has not been any new construction in the area since 2008 when Reiche & Silliman built Venezia on Big Sand Lake. For those of you who like new construction homes, I have good news for you! Meritage homes presents Kerina at Parkside. Kerina at Parkside is due to have model homes for view by December-January, with move-in ready homes ready just 4 months after that.
In comparison, while Venezia’s homes are 4,000+ square feet, starting at $750,000, Kerina at Parkside will be more modest with home sizes ranging from 3,000sq ft – 4,500sq ft and prices starting in the $350s. Not much is known at this point beyond the basics about the community. There are three possible phases totaling 300 homes. Phase one consisting of 160 home sites. The homes will contain spanish style architecture with tile shingle roofs. Kerina at Parkside will have all the standard amenities that come with a high end subdivision; State-of-the-art clubhouse with workout facilities, common area, a pool, and much more. Lot sizes will have a minimum of 60 feet of frontage.
The best part, you still get all the community amenities as the surrounding multi-million dollar subdivisions! A+ Sand Lake Elementary School is within walking distance, as is beautiful Dr Phillips Community Park. Famed ‘Restaurant Row’ is just over 2 miles away. Disney is just 5 minutes to the South, while Universal Studios and International drive are just 10 minutes to the North.
